CONVICTED DEATH EATER MARRIES HALF BLOOD IN IMPROMPTU MUGGLE CEREMONY
TOLERE PROGRAM LAUDED AS SUCCESS!

Alecto Carrow, convicted Death Eater currently on probation, has wed half-blood, Noel Vaisey, on January 23, 2001. The two were rumoured to be an item while Mr. Vaisey was still a student at Hogwarts and the former MIss Carrow was instated by the Death Eater regime as a Muggle Studies Professor. Miss Carrow was captured after the battle of Hogwarts and released into his custody following a brief two year stint in Azkaban for crimes against the student populace. The Carrow family had long been proud supporters of Voldemort, with both Miss Carrow and her deceased brother, Amycus, being members of his ranks from the first war.

An insider at the Ministry revealed that the couple had notified the Ministry of their intent to marry a few weeks prior but had set the date as February 2nd. It is unknown why the date was changed. We're also told the couple is expecting a child sometime this June. We are currently unable to reach them for comment as messages are not being returned.

Ministry officials are marking this marriage as a great success for the program. An anonymous source is quoted as saying, "The Minister is thrilled to see someone as notoriously anti-muggle as Alecto Carrow embracing muggle life by not only marrying a half blood, but doing so by muggle means. We at the Ministry hope that the influence of the program will continue when their child is born."

India did you find out if your shop can get the orchids?

My cousin is driving me insane with family politics. Most of them wanted nothing to do with me, but now that I'm getting married, suddenly everyone wants to be there. I thought being disowned would somehow make this easier. I guess getting married and carrying the Carrow heir makes all the difference. Bloody hypocrites all of them.

Lisa I saw a dress and it really struck me for you and Asia. Can you give me your opinion? I don't want you to wear something you don't like.

So much to do and only four weeks to do it in. Actually not even that long. February 2nd. I sent for the special parchment and quill from The Ink Pot. Should be here in a few days. I need to write all this down so I don't forget everything that needs to get done. Dresses, invitations, flowers, the stephana from my cousin, writing Noel's mother about the cake.

Lisa, we need to go dress shopping. I'm not getting a traditional dress but I don't know where exactly to look. Maybe near your theater?

My cousin has already insinuated herself into my wedding. I love the girl don't get me wrong, I just really wanted to keep this small. I guess this means Noel needs another attendant. I hope we can keep this as simple as we'd like. With so many different people involved I wonder how long it will stay that way. At least Noel is taking on some of the tasks of planning. I really don't think I could do it all myself in so short a time.

It's still odd to me that I'm actually doing this. I came to it on my own terms, but it's just something I never thought I'd do. As much as I try not to think about it, I wonder how this might change things between us. I know it's just a piece of paper and a few words and I'm already committed to him, but I just don't want something like a change in titles to change what we have. Maybe I'm just being ridiculous.
